We understand that bringing a baby home is a major life transition. Our goal is to work with families from the very first day, ensuring that by the time we leave (typically around the 3-month mark), you have a happy, healthy, and sleeping baby.

What Is a Postpartum Doula?
Unlike a night nanny who focuses solely on overnight care, a postpartum doula is trained to come into your home during the day to provide valuable care and support to the entire family. We assist during those critical first few weeks after childbirth, ensuring a smooth transition for everyone—including siblings.
The Difference: Specialist to the Mother
The main distinction between our services is focus. While a newborn care specialist focuses on the infant’s development, a postpartum doula acts as a specialist to the mother. We provide mothering advice, emotional support, and guidance to ensure you are recovering well.
Breastfeeding & Newborn Care
We assist with breastfeeding complications, offering guidance on latching and nursing positions. We also provide hands-on help with general newborn care, swaddling, and soothing techniques.
Household & Meal Support
Recovery requires rest, so let us handle the chores. We prepare light family meals, perform light household tasks, and run errands so you can focus entirely on bonding with your new baby.
Sibling Care & Bonding
We help care for older siblings to ensure they don’t feel left out. We work to create a bond between your elder children and the doula (often called a “mommy labor nurse” by the kids) so they feel comfortable and supported during this big change.
